TOWNGAME is a free browser game, provided as-is for fun. By playing, you agree to these terms. They're deliberately short and plain.

BE DECENT TO EACH OTHER

This is a shared world with live voice chat and visible names. Don't use it to:

• harass, threaten, or bully other players;
• use hateful, obscene, or impersonating names;
• share other people's private information;
• break the law or encourage others to.

We may remove any account or name that breaks these rules, at our discretion, to keep the space friendly.

YOUR ACCOUNT

• You're responsible for keeping your password to yourself.
• A name is claimed by whoever registers it first; pick one that isn't someone else's identity.
• You can delete your account any time from the privacy page.

THE GAME MAY CHANGE OR BREAK

TOWNGAME is under active, community-driven development. Features, the world, and your saved progress may change, reset, or disappear. The game is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, and may be unavailable at times.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent allowed by law, TOWNGAME and its maker are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the game, including lost progress or interactions with other players. It's a game, play at your own enjoyment.

SUPPORTING THE GAME

Any optional payments are handled by Polar as the merchant of record and are subject to Polar's terms. Contributions support ongoing development and don't purchase guarantees about the game's future.

CHANGES

We may update these terms; we'll change the date above and note anything significant in the game. Continuing to play means you accept the current terms.
